Mazda MX8 2006 - Bad rattle at top of revs #Archived Message

Not sure weather in ther correct forum,Have a MX8 with 20k on clock,no codes stored, normal driving seems perfect,however when at top of revs just before red line, horrendus rattle similar to crankshaft comes in!cant simulate stationary only under load , customer also mentions severe loss of power when realy hot on long runs,im aware these engines arnt bullet proof but 20k is a bit much for a knackered engine, surely. ps hot starting is good,any ideas on the engine noise?,anyone had same problem?.thanks
