The mystery deepens. Apparently, this fault occurred after the truck was involved in quite a heavy front end impact about 2 years ago. The driver has been complaining about it but its never been looked into properly. Now we've acknowledged that there is a fault, he's refusing to drive it. Oh, happy days! Ford apparently allow 1.7mm end float in the half shafts, so that sounds like a red herring. |
