This may seem a stupid question but i have this car coming in with logged code 17965 . I have replaced boost control solenoid. I now need to clean the variable vane turbo as has been suggested many times before. Having never done one what would be the recommended procedure? do i need to remove the turbo, or can it be done in situ? is there a recommended solvent to clean them or can i use something like carb cleaner? Or do i not bother and change the turbo? As i say i only ask because its the first one i have come across . In anticipation. Vince
