Jeep Grand Cherokee 2.7 CRD - Central locking & windows # Archived Message

    Hi all.

Bit of a long shot this but worth a try!

This vehicle reportedly suffered faliure on three of its injectors while the owner was on holiday. The garage resolved the running problem but, since returning it to the owner the central locking doesn't work from the key fob; when the button on the driver's door is operated the only solenoid to operate is on the driver's door; only the driver's side windows operate and the n/s door mirror won't adjust. On the n/s the window switches have no effect; neither does the c/locking switch on the n/s/f door.

I can't find any broken wires to the doors; the switches seem to be ok; there is battery voltage to the both front doors but no switched feeds when the window switches or c/l switces are operated.

I'm guessing this is a bcm problem but, if it is, it's not a common failiure - Chrysler don't sell many according to my local dealer.

I'm posting this in the hope that someone may have seen this problem before and resolved it!

    Any suggestions more than appreciated.

    Cheers - Paul.
