    Peugeot 306 - All years/engines - rear suspension # Archived Message

There are still a good few of these about (no. 2 son has one and I run one as a loan car) and they are a great little car.

However, they are generally killed by rear suspension radius arm bearing failure because the bearings are impossible to lubricate.

The only economical cure is to try to find an old rear subframe/suspension from a breakers but they are getting rare too.

Has anyone ever done a successful repair or modification on these?

Sound in body and failing just on undercarriage seems a waste (sounds like what's happening to me too!) and don't get me started on this sCRAPpage scheme!

    Regards,

    Steve
