Nissan X-Trail 2.2 DCi 2004 - Fuel gauge not working #Archived Message

have in garage a Nissan X-Trail diesel 2004 which has a faulty/not working fuel gauge.
Tested fuel sender and that appears to work ok, tested instrument cluster (well think that's how its one) by using trip reset button untill all segments display 888888 then press button again and hold in and gauges move to about a quarter of the working rnge.
Fuel gauge moved the same amount as temp gauge so i'm sure its ok.
Tried to sensor simulate fuel sender wiring but hasn't worked.
Voltage on green wire at plug is 1.85v and 0.5v on yellow wire.
Could anyone supply me with a wiring diagram or any info for testing and fuse details.
