Jaguar X Type V6 2001 - Excess handbrake travel #Archived Message

Hi all , got this one in today having failed it's mot on the handbrake having excess travel. On inspection there looks to be an automatic adjuster like mk3 Mondeo's had and were modified to manual adjustment . Does anyone know of a fix ? Many thanks
