Couldn't get any more info than supplied here. Decided after studying live data on all airbags, that the resistance values were all the same except on the drivers steering wheel bag. This value varied as wheel was steered left to right. Stripped out the connection which was a spiral cable (clockspring), not a brush as thought. Once this was removed however, strange squeak still there . Disconnected the column from the rack then found the squeak was coming from the rack and travelling up the column. Jag supplies an additive (modification!) to add to the fluid to de-squeak it! New clockspring assembly fitted also, codes cleared, job done. I'm sure that some of you out there, like me,sometimes are influenced in the decision to replace parts (not very scientific i know) by how many of said parts the dealer stocks or sells. Interesting then that 1 Jag dealer never sold a clockspring for this, yet another sold loads of them! Cheers Colin.
