We are working on this 2007 Shogun that has had accident damage to the R/H/F corner, the dealers looked at it and then refused to go and deeper when they realised that it had been bumped. We found one fault which was a broken wire under the radiator to the r/h/f wheel sensor, this cured the ABS warning light.
we were then left with code 83 steering angle sensor and code 84 T/F Not Check. ?? we drove the car and code 83 disappeared. ( we were told that it needed a test drive to reset the steering angle sensor or it can be done by going into actuator tests, Actuating the s.a.c and moving the wheel slightly each way )
we are now left with the ASC warning light stopping on and Code 84 T/F NOT CHECK. ?? what is this referring to. ??? we have looked in live data and T/F looks like Transmission 2 High, 2 Low, etc which appears to be working ok, the ASC switch is also working,
Their is no airbag warning light working for some reason, ( most likely someone has blanked it off ) and their is what looks like a crash sensor without a plug on it, we have connected it up but it makes no difference.
codes were read with JK100 and Launch and both gave exactly the same description.
Anyone got any info on these late model Shoguns., ??
