Hi Mark Thanks for info. Did exactly as you describe. Getting heat onto the sheild bolts and removing took a fair bit of time. Just over two hours. After looking at auto data found this time to be about right. Trouble is it looks an easy starter to get out but the bulk where the starter bolts are gives all the problems. Dont you just love the French!!! Regards Les
