    Jaguar XJ6 3.2 1994 (L) - Speedo reading too fast # Archived Message

Got this XJ6 with the speedo reading too fast, possibly double the actual speed.
Speedo operates off ABS sensors, but only appears to operate off osf, and nsr wheels, ABS lamp operates normally, and no ABS fautts reported.
    Now heres the odd bit.

Unplug either of the nsr, or the osf sensors so the speedo is only operating off one wheel sensor, and the speedo reading is fine! When both plugged in so it is reading off both sensors, the speedo is reading far too fast!

Just started doing this, so not as a result of any previous work being carried out.
My gut feeling is saying abs module fault, i.e interpretting the input data incorrectly, but not being a fault, or a vehicle i have had many dealings with in the past i would welcome any suggestions, or experience of this fault!

    Many thanks.
