Volvo V40 1.6 VVT 2001 (Y) - Rattle from the top end #Archived Message

Good day all Volvo v40 1.6 came in to day with a rattling top end. Got shimmed valves so not that. Got variable valve timing, that according to the web gives problems. I have not had much to do with this set up and is there anyone that can assist me or has repaired one with similar problems. Thanks Mark
