VW Passat BKP 2005 - Fault code for No 3 glow plug, glow plugs not visible? #Archived Message

Silly question this one i feel but I have a fault code logged for No 3 glow plug. Where are the glow plugs as they are not visible i can only assume they are under the cam cover am i right or wrong? my elsawin is not new enough to cover this model nothing on autodata or in esi.
