Had this in from another garage, car started and stopped a few seconds later. They had read the codes ,and changed the cam sensor.
We got the car in and read the codes and sure enough "cam sensor signal".It seemed like a immob fault to me.The dealer gave me a tip, press down hard on the sensor and try to start the car, supprise surprise the car started and ran,let go of the sensor and it stopped.
Apparently the cam cover warps and the signal from the sensor is affected.
Got out a file and took off a small amount from the sensor seating mount on the cover, eventually the car started and ran fine, and has done since.
They do sell a replacement cover made of plastic[the one we got was faulty hence filling the old one]
Not really asking for help but it may help someone.
    John
