hi paul. unlucky you!!! we did one of these about 5 months ago. 9 out of 10 times you can get away with 16 rockers as ed says but you have to remove all the engine and transmition to do this job so we removed the cylinder head and had 4 bent exhaust valves (the vehicle was on motorway when belt failed) 2 of the injectors had to be burnt out of the head they were so badly seized in £200 each. the total bill for this vehicle was £3000. i had another come in a month later and didnt want the job as the amount of time consumed by the mechanic (33hrs!) and 1 of my ramps out of action for 4 days i could make more profit doing general repairs. your call if you remove the head or not after 20hrs+to put if back in and have a misfire...rather you than me. put the ball in the customers court! sean
