    This may be useful

    Fuel additive topping up procedure

The fuel additive is obtained from the Peugeot main dealer, and contains all the necessary
adapters and clips to enable successful topping up of the FAP system.
Note. In order to complete the fuel additive topping up procedure, diagnostic equipment with the FAP resetting software is required. The diagnostic equipment is required to reset the fuel additive quantity counter in the fuel additive control module and turn “OFF” the FAP warning light in the vehicle’s instrument cluster.

Carry out the following fuel additive (FAP) topping up procedure:

    1. Place vehicle on lift to gain access to the underneath of the vehicle by the main diesel fuel
    tank.

    2. Disconnect the “click on union pipe” which is located on the fuel additive reservoir (near the
rear axle) towards the middle of vehicle.

    3. Undo the large overflow plug on the fuel additive reservoir (large 22mm size nut)

    4. Clip on the receptacle pipe from the fuel additive container with female clip-on union (which is
provided in the fuel additive topping up kit).

    5. Place the receptacle containing the fuel additive above the level of the FAP reservoir and
allow gravity to fill the fuel additive reservoir.

    6. Use diagnostic equipment to re-set the fuel additive control module and turn “OFF” the FAP
warning light in the instrument cluster assembly.

    7. Road test the vehicle to ensure no further engine management system warning lights are
    illuminated.
