Hi all,
I worked on this car for a faulty rear window switch last week and all is reported to be OK since replacing the switch, no more random window unlocks and alarm trips. See my earlier post about this unique Jag problem . Only happens on estate cars with the naff _ing on the boot lid.
However, the owner still has one electrical gremlin and I need to know if anyone can help on this as its a weird one.
Now and again the owner has noticed that the interior courtesy light above the reversing mirror comes on when the following are operated:
a) Front + back window wipers together b) Rear window wiper on its own c) Reversing of the driveway
The light comes on and goes off after the timeout expires. Its very intermittent.
