BMW 320d 2006 - Replaced brake pads but warning light still on - Fixed #Archived Message

replaced the pads on a 320d 2006 later shape bmw today (rear pads) new pads and indicator wire. the h/b warning light and the (car on the ramp) light is still on. i have accessed the brake menu on the stalk and tried numerous ways to reset it with no joy. it also flashes -200 below the rear brakes symbol. bmw told me it was a manual reset on the stalk but i cant for hell make it reset. anyone had any experiences?? thanks sean
