Renault Megane Scenic 2002 - Burnt connectors on the rear light clusters #Archived Message

This car has the usual Renault problem with burnt connectors to the rear light clusters.New lampholder/lights are not a problem but the coonectors are not available as a seperate part,only as a rear harness assy at over £200!I have mananged to re-work the old ones as a temp and run a seperate earth directly to the lamp holder ,but would be nice to replace the whole connector.Any suggestions to the availability of these connectors.(they are similar to the old Escort/Sierra type but a bit smaller.)
