Hi, if it's a 996 , key out of ignition, pull inner door handle out, you'll see a recessed black headed phillips screw, remove that, remove silver plastic badge that says air bag,use plastic tools, remove allen headed bolt behind that . lift panel stove conpartment lid under edge of lid remove expander screw clip (take screw out first), carefully remove top plastic surround over interior door handle ,behind that is a torx screw, remove that ,on main pull handle were it comes down remove trim from that & find torx headed screw at bottom , remove door mirror switch cover by pulling out from BOTTOM EDGE & sliding up (don't break top peg) working from bottom pull panel out then lift up, disconnect wires/cable .

Behind is membrane stuck to door,THIS MUST BE REPLACED or water leaks will occur(choice of two depending on speaker fitted)slowly remove & don't leave any sealer on door, heat door with heat gun when fitting new.

To remove air bag just make sure ignition key is out.

It's probably cables broken on regulator.

Use masking tape around panel so as not to mark & use plastic tools only.

If battery disconnected have ignition on & after leave ignition on for one minute to let throttle re-adapt & reinishallize windows by raising & lowering fully.

If it's a 997 let me know as they're different

    HTH
    Matt
