If it's anything like the Audi A4! Then it sometimes hasn't shut/opened properly or the switch has been released before the operation is complete.
All that is required, is to open and close it manually! Voila, it starts working perfectly!

However, the switches on some of them, do fall off the mechanism. Unusual for 2 to not work though.
