Very common for the rockers to break on the 2.4 causing all manner of internal damage. Check the head carefully for cracks if not replacing everything. I've seen one or two where just the rockers have been replaced and minute cracks start leaking oil once it gets hot! (seems dealers these days don't have time to run an engine up, just fix it and park it in the car park)
