Fitted a recon gearbox and has come back with an oil leak from inside bell housing. Removed box and input seal looks ok. I noticed that slave cyl when fitting pushes against seal. It is an LUK clutch and the cyl has a rim at the rear of the cyl. I was thinking that this could slightly deform seal allowing oil to pass. If the rear of the cyl was flat I would not be concerned. Have ordered Vauxhall cyl for tomorrow but was wondering if anyone has seen this before. Hard to explain but hope this makes sense. it is the type of job you dont want to do again Cheers Les
