    Hi John, Before fitting a steering angle sensor road test the car and check the steering wheel is correctly aligned. If the wheel is out of alignment this may be giving an implausable steering angle reading and so logging the fault code. If the wheel is not streight set the wheel alignment correctly ( ie 4 wheel alignmet if poss and centering the steering wheel) then reset the steering angle sensor and calibrate it with your diagnostic tool if you have the capibility. If this is not the case and the steering wheel is infact streight the sensor is fitted on the lower section of the steering column inside the car and is fiddly to change but not the worst job in the world.
