Funnily enough I have had a phone call today from Another Auto-Electrician who is working on a Laguna, He Said that it has throttle potentiometer track 1 and track 2 Plausibility codes logged, He says that it has already been to the Dealers and they have told the customer that it needs an ecu, wiring harness and throttle body, And Funnily enough it will be around £1400.00

Why don't they just tell the customer that the cars are crap, they are too complicated for them to be able to do a proper diagnosis on, ( or they aren't trained up well enough to be able to know how to check it out properly and the only way that they can guarantee a fix is to change everything in the system. ?????????????

The Truth is that they are not pepared to waste time checking, especially for intermittent faults and replacement of all parts involved is the only guaranteed cure.

If everyone had £1400 spare in their back pocket, it wouldn't be a problem. ??

Surely there must be a fine line that when crossed it becomes corruption rather than a business and I think that the Manufacturers and Dealers have crossed that line a long time ago.

    Bring back the throttle cable.
