The roof has stopped working completely, no flashing light on switch etc. The customer said it stopped working after she was parked next to another BMW and as its owner came back to unlock their car, her car unlocked as well. I can't see any connection and this cars central locking is working fine. I've tried a reset procedure which involves disengaging the two motors, manually open the roof, reconnect motors, ignition on, foot on brake and press switch to open roof which should latch the hood cover. The roof should then work, but it doesn't. I've located the ECU and checked main power supply, earth etc, but I don't have any more info on this system to check it any further. None of my diagnostic equipment will communicate with the hood ECU, which is useful! Has anyone got any info on this system or a wiring diagram?
