    Note sure if this will be the same on your Corsa C but we have had a couple of Vaux cars & one Saab in recently with intermittent alarm faults & showed a code for sounder malfunction.
    We have replaced the sounder & not had any further problems (one of our staff is an ex Vaux man & tells me the internal back-up battery will probably have failed). HTH
