Hi all. I phoned the dealers and they say they sell lots of window regs every month. So I pulled out the old one and found the plastic guide was missing on the rear rail(broken and fallen off)hence the play. As the old window did fit well on the seal, I copied the adjustment settings with a vernier caliper onto the new reg and it all went back ok, may have just been lucky though. The book time to do this(autodata)is 1.75hrs, now if i charge a £100 pa like the dealers it may just about be worth it. Cheers, Kim.
