Car came in for loud rattle from dual mass flywheel on start up and hard gearchange,after removing gearbox found the flywheel was jammed and the part the clutch bolts to was out of line with main part of flywheel,fitted new flywheel and clutch (ford parts)and it now changes gear ok but on start up the noise is worse,It needs started 2 or 3 times to get the rattle to go away it also wot rev when rattle is present. Has anyone got any ideas on this one.
