This isn't related to your specific fault but I had one where the MIL came on and a code for"fuel pressure sensor" was logged, and in the end a new high pressure pump, mounted on the engine block which increases the fuel pressure up to something like 40 bar had to be fitted, total bill from Volvo was £750, no surprise that Volvo dropped this engine pretty sharpish!!!!!!!
