    Hi Steve as Steve H says its nearly always the switch and if you change it you have to change the lock as well so then needs keys coding, but some of the keys you can remove and change the transponder, I find it better to give the customer the choice and most of them go for the relay option 40amp relay switched from ign feed one does the job and were as with a new switch it may go again in a year or two, if you fit the relay its done with for the life of the car.
