Hi all this was a long drawn out job with the customer getting second hand parts when he could get hold of them, not a nice job but it is now running, the customer first got a second hand key and Twice unit because the engine ECU fault code was saying it was not getting the immobilizer code from the Twice unit, there was no codes in twice unit and it was reading the key code according to the live data, then he managed to get hold of an engine ECU, the faulty parts where the original key transponder, the original engine ECU and the second hand Twice unit, the information from the components to the TechII was not clear and did not report a faulty key transponder to the Twice unit, neither did the engine ECU report any other faults apart from not receiving the code from the Twice unit, after saying this the job could not have been completed without the dealer tool to hand, and yes it would have been finished sooner if new parts had been used, not a job to make a great profit out of but great satisfaction when you turn that key and it runs. so there you go Regards Tom
