E39 BMW 520i y reg 2001 year Service light reset procedure.
2 Hours for the service.
3 hours to turn the lights out.
In the end it turned out to be the button in the dash you have to push while turning ignition on. It is quite complicated so will type it up in full a little later. Thanks for your help
