Hi chaps goth this ongoing problem with the power assisted steering, we keep on getting an intermitant fault where the light keeps coming on (steering wheel on dash), after accessing the code we get G250 which relates to the steering angle sensor, this unit has been replaced however the fault does still occur, the customer explained just before the light comes on he sees the lights on the inside of the car (dash) start to flicker, we suspect a power problem or the electric pump is perhaps drawing too much. We have removed the plug from off the pump/control unit assy where the terminals were corroded and replaced the contacts inside. Can it be and intermitant alternator fault?? Does any one know of a common broblem?? Many thanks Stuart MacKinnon
