Hi All,
First post on here, hope someone can help!? I have an ongoing problem with this vehicle.
Speedo intermittently failing causing poor running and overhelpful power steering!We've tried the obvious - changed the speed sender on the gearbox, whilst doing that checked drive gear from the diff - all ok. I've recently tried a set of clocks to no avail. After having looked at the wiring diagrams there appears to be an amplifier unit in this circuit.
My question is could this be where the fault is and if so where is it located? In case it's relevant, the speedo does work whilst travelling at higher speeds, but rarely operates correctly at lower speed.
