Told garage to take it to dealers as I wasn't brave (or clever) enough to make a diagnosis. Dealer charged half an hours labour to tell them it needed a new wiper motor and wiper swtich (hmm) Garage fitted new motor - no different. Fitted new switch, both faults cured. Regards Steve
