Vehicle reports fault with passenger airbag circuit. It appears to have a two stage firing mechanism for this airbag, one circuit (second stage)is ok and the other fails. Fitting a 2 ohm resistor in the plug clears second stage fault (plug disconnected) but the same resistor in the other plug will not enable code to be cleared. Checked wiring back to ECU and all seems good. I suspect an ECU fault. Anyone had any experience of this? TIA
