hi all i have to look at the above vehicle for knocking noises over bumps and sleeping policemen etc. the noise is all from the rear . i did have a quick look before xmas to make sure it was safe to use . the noise is heavy thud/donk not exhaust or shields . no play in any hub joints or bearings.is there any common problems with the shocks or mountings ,they seem to be damping ok . the mileage is about 75k and overall the car drives well.the customer doesnt really want me to spend too much time investigating !weve all been there before !!! tia damian
