this is in tomorrow. transit 2.4 duratoque diesel. very heavy oil contamination in cooling system. i have advised him of possible head gasket failure but have been told these can suffer from something to do with the water pump and oil pump been situated on top of each other and leaking into each other. i know this sounds vague as i havent had a lot of experience with these engines other than ruitine service,any common faults around this area would be of great help as i am now a tad reluctant to do the head gasket straight away. many thanks. sean
