Hi if I get an intermittent short and the rev lights are on that fuse. I always go for them first--put ign on and in rev and check the loom for chaffing near the rev switch--some times the fuse will ping as you are working-constantly check the fuse so you know what the last thing you did was before it blows.
then try hazards on while you do the same with them-try a lower fuse which will blow more easily-never try a higher one or you may loose the short
