Alternator charging at 13.1 volts I normally fit Ford units to these but there wasn't any available and they were £340 +vat I fitted a lucas unit from ECP it lasted 6 weeks when I phoned to say it was faulty they said it should never have been supplied to the vehicle I phoned another supplier who said they had one for the vehicle in Delco Remy that was the same 13.1 vols I phoned the tech dept and they told me it was the correct alternator and it must be faulty I fitted another unit and that was just the same having only ever fitted Ford units as anyone else had problems with aftermarket on fords Cheers John
