Are any of the release cables too tight?(over adjusted).Inner and outer door handle release cables ,is there enough slack.On the VW latches,inadequate movement of the cables does not allow the latch to complete it's throw and the mechanism gets stuck halfway between lock/unlock.Just a thought.
