I'd be interested to know how many of us routinely replace torque to yield bolts and screws.
I'd guess most renew cylinder head-bolts but what about other fasteners. Is it a case of Loctite and pray?
Reason I ask is that a couple of times lately I've followed the instructions and asked TPS for new crank-pulley bolts (150nM + 180deg.) only to be told 'We don't sell many, it's a special order'
They do however, stock and sell plenty of timing belt kits.
