Okay,I would have thought that my Ford IDS (newer version of WDS) would have done this but it didn't.

It turns out that Snap On Verus does read the faults in the SRS system.

Anyway, it turned out that the secondhand seat we fitted was no good, got another seat and this cleared the faults, now airbag light is operating correctly.
