He pulled the instrument cluster out and soldered onto the board to write correct mileage, then connected the adaptor to the instrument cluster connector on the car to "Backfeed" the info into the CAS module.
Very clever guy.
He wrote 1000 miles into the cas and the correct mileage into the instrument cluster, so if there were any further problems it was half the job to correct...
Either way... its done!
