Thanks Jon, until the other day I knew nothing of SVM, after trawling the net I discovered exactly what you said above.
Even with assist support and their pass through device and ODIS it would still not be possible, as it was E4 and pass through is only for E5 and E6.
So it's looking like the full vas package is required now.
So it's no longer a simple job to replace a window regulator!
