I have a customer with the above, starts and drives OK, We have the battery warning (charge) light on after a few seconds running , no fault codes in any module but when looking in engine control the Load signal (MVB 101) is consistent with electrical load around 40 - 60%, the generator power (MVB100) in watts is showing as 0W !
We appear to have a sensible charge voltage (14.3v) at all times engine running.
My question is are we looking at an alternator fault or wiring to either body control / engine modules (not yet checked) but the sting in the tail is - the warning light goes out when intermittent wipe is switched on (not normal speed just intermittent).
Returns back on when switched off !!

Is there something I am missing here before digging deeper (like a service warning) or do we have a genuine fault ?
