Managed to find the alarm control unit, behind the kick panel in the drivers footwell, two set of wires going into it.
Disconnected it, can lock and unlock the vehicle on the central locking, no alarm or hazard lights flashing, starts up Ok so immob not affected.
Customer doesn't want to spend any more money than absolutely necessary so job done.
