Car towed in by AA, fuel pump not working replaced pump vehicle now starts ok, noticed fuel gauge not working pluged old pump/sender in still the same, customer said gauge was working, pulled dash pod out and there is a ballast resister on the back battery voltage one side 1.5 volts the other should it be 10 volts,when ignition switched on the needle goes up and down 3 times then off, the temp gauge works fine ?
