Thanks Peter,I rang up the site as i could get no good online and they told me i would have to go to main dealer and get them to to put the car on vw diagnostics to get code. i had to do this and pay main dealer 30 euro plus vat for same.Not happy with this as surely main dealer should provide code to the registered owner.Just another case of being ripped off.Black mark against vw.
